Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
I made a plan to get on the scale on Wednesday mornings. I do, from time to time, hit the scale on another day of the week when I just feel like I need to monitor for some reason.
You need to be okay with weighing yourself and get used to hopping on there only to fine you haven't lost anything. Stalls are a part of this process and you will have many of those so don't panic. Make sure you take your measurements because you will find that even when on a stall, you will still lose inches.
Hang in there!

We have all tried so many times to lose weight in the past that it is very common to have the fear that even GBS isn't going to work for us. But it does work. So hang in there. Give it time.
In the meantime, take your measurements and start a little record of them. Re-measure every week. You will be amazed to see the evidence of your meltdown. :)
