Christams is in six weeks!! I send my family an email about my upcoming surgery. All of my family is very supportive of my haveing this surgery. My Christmas wish is for my family to buy things that would help me after my surgery. I put on the list PROTEIN!!!, Small containers, Good Blender, Straws, and water. I also suggest gift cards to GNC or any health food store. My family agree that was a good idea. If they want to buy me clothes, I suggest them just give my gift cards so I can used them after surgery. I thought this was a great idea!!

are you allowed to use straws after surgery? double check on that ok :)

I was told no straws, but could only get my protein shakes down with a straw for the first couple of months after surgery (don't taste them as much that way). I never had a problem using them.

A food scale!
Measuring cups for solids and liquids.
Measuring spoons.
Small bowls and utensils.
A great water bottle (you'll have to carry it *everywhere* for the first 6 months).

other than the straws that sounds good. I know with my program we are not allowed straws so check with your surgeon

A good, accurate scale. Weight Watchers has some great ones and they are very affordable!

we were told straws were okay, that its from the old procedures that they recommended NO straws. But double check with your doctor

My bday is nov 20 but we are celebrating this weekend. Im the same way, either gift cards or money cause my surgery is nov 27th so i dont need clothes yet.
