I have a South Beach protein drink mixer, I got it at walmart for $20, maybe less on Amazon. I love it, makes good shakes, can break ice, I have been using it for about 6 months, no issues. Here is a link, so you can see what it looks like, but they have it in store.

Try your local Goodwill...

Place the ice you want to "crush" in a ziploc bag.. wrap the bag in a towel... and hit it with a hammer.

We never had "blenders growning up at my Grandma's house and thats how she always did it :)

lol, I think I''ll skip the hammer. I will have the neighbors complaining..but thanks for the advice lol that's funny. It would be something I would do if I could. when I didn't have a washer and no money to wash I would put my clothing in the tub and stomp on it to wash my clothing. Sorry about being such a spaz about a blender! I will live and find some way to replace it. I have not had it that long, I am going to take it back first off. See if I can get it replaced. It should NOT have broke.

CL is a great place to look for stuff you need if you're low on dough and don't mind used items. Of course, it's always a good ideal to use common sense when meeting strangers to purchase things, so y'know, bring a friend when meeting with sellers and stuff like that.

Goodwill..yard sales..flea markets..ebay..craigs list...Salvation Army. Also I have a stick(immersion) blender that you use in any container and they are very inexpensive and work well. d

walmart has the replacement pitchers for blenders. I have same blender they have glass and plastic.not sure of the price though so I may not be helping at all.

Hamers are great with Ice you pretend its what ever is pissing you off the most at the time and wack away. :)

looked at walmart.com the plastic pitcher is 9.88 the glas is 15.92 maybe even good will may have a pitcher.

Join and try asking on Freecycle.org maybe someone has it and doesn't use it anymore. You would have to pick it up but its free.

aww.thanks everyone. I had to have a blender. I use it everyday, Sometimes twice or more a day. But I had a debit card and I had money saved for another bill. Ok, so I know I have to replace the money before the bill comes up, but I got a pitcher at walmart. And now I could get a hammer and throw it at something because I am upset. I got the blender at walmart, and they should have replaced it, but would not. rip off. Acted like I was trying to rip them off. Makes me mad. They should have replaced it. I didn't have it that long and that glass pitcher on it should not have shattered. KatLinj your funny.
