Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Watch that Blood Pressure. Have you got your own cuff? They are fairly cheap at Walmart. We do sometimes have to have the doctor adjust our medicine
I had a doctor give me the wrong blood pressure medicine and just came real close to killing me with it. My BP dropped to nearly none and my pulse was below 40. Got to take my 1st ambulance ride! All is well now. I replaced that doctor!
After my RNY they sent me home without my blood pressure meds. Mine like yours now was quite normal for nearly 3 years. Like Sgt said get yourself a bp cuff and check it at least once or twice a week. I would do 2x since they still have you on fluid pills. If you have a smart phone there is an ap that follows Blood pressure, Pulse, weight it is called bp watch.
you are doing fantastic
