Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.

But, yes, some weeks will have smaller numbers than others. As Lcat said, just stick with the program and be patient (it makes the journey more enjoyable that way).

My first half year, I was in to the doctor every month anyway, then every other, then every 3 months, etc. Waiting until my checkups to find how much I'd lost was great. I always lost something for the first year and a half, and the (NORMAL) fluctuations up and down weren't making me crazy afterwards. I'm checking every 3 months now, although I only see the doctor once or twice year, so I can catch any upward trends before they get out of hand, but for me, it's been a great way to work it.
