Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
I am 2 weeks post op and I eat like 5 or 6 bites of something and I am full. :)
I know how you feel- for me, sometimes I feel like I am eating too much... the problem I have is when I don't chew enough, or don't pay attention to what I'm eating- then I get this pain in my back and I know it's sort of stuck or something!!
so far, everything tastes so good, and "new"... yesterday I had a half bagel from Panera with light cream cheese (thought I'd died and gone to Heaven!)... but I know I can't do that every day... for me I know I'm not drinking enough water..... it helps so much!
just think how fabulous you are doing, and how far you've come already!!! good that you are concerned, but don't forget the JOY that you feel!!!! and, I read your other post about church... get in there and be heard, girl!!!!! Get in their faces and share the joy!
