I've "heard" on YouTube that Any Whey is a really good unflavored protein - I think it's by Optimum Nutrition...

I have Unjury and personally, I can't stand anything I have tried to add it to.

They gave me Pro-Cel in the hospital, and it didn't have a taste, just made things thicker. I bought some Unjury online per my nut suggestions, and I don't care for it. It has an awful flavor when mixed with no sugar added fruit (or anything with splenda or artificial sweeteners). the only thing I can handle it on is light ice cream, and only about a tsp which is about 1/5 of a scoop.

The one I use is Pure. I get it at www.bariatriceating.com.

I use "BIOPLEX" Pure Whey Isolate protein powder mostly. It is unflavored and does not foam up or add any flavor to things. It's a Protein Isolate which means it doesn't have the sugar or cholesterol as most regular protein powders. if you go to a health food store ask them to show you which ones are Whey protein isolates and not the regular Whey Protein powders.

I also followed someone's recommendation to try BeneProtein made like "BeneFiber" I got them today in the mail today, but I have not had a chance to taste it yet or mix it with anything. I think I'll go mix some with some Cranberry juice and see how it comes out. If it's really substantially good, I'll make another post.

The only unflavored protein that I have ever tried is Unjury and I can't stand the stuff. I can taste/smell it in everything.

Ok, I just used the "BeneProtein" it comes in small packets, each having 7g of protein that you are to mix with food or up to 4oz of liquid.

I mixed it with 4 oz of fruit punch flavored "Power Ade"

I'm AMAZED!. no taste added to the PowerAde, no change in consistency, nothing bad to report at all about this stuff. Not sure who it was on here that recommended it, but thanks. You've certainly made my next phase of foods much more enjoyable.

For those who are looking for it, I think I found it at Walmart.com, however when you google "BeneProtein" there are dozens of sites with it for sale in the small packets like I got that can go in your pocket or purse, and there's also a big jug of it as well.

The protein drinks have truly been the hardest part of this 3 week ordeal so far. This stuff definitely changes that part of the equation. i can't imagine why anyone wouldn't like this protein mix, so give it a try.

I just got a sample pack from a company called Chike. These are more meal replacement shakes but they have a lot of protein. If you go online and google Chike and they will send you a free sample pack. I paid $6.95 in shipping. I havent tried them yet.

My surgeon put me on an increasing sliding scale for protein intake after surgery. Every two weeks increase 20gms - 20, 40, 60+. Checks labs at 3 months. This was a good thing because I am just now getting the full 60 with most of the time getting 80. Had a hard time getting used to the taste of protein drinks. Now I tolerate them fine. Putting protein powder in other stuff . . . think I'll pass. Tolerating the shakes, niot loving them. Wouldn't want to make everything taste . . . umm, different. But to each his own, right?

I use Pure Protein from Be when I want unflavored stuff. I don't mind it, but have had a little trouble trying to figure out the consistency for oatmeal with it (you can't heat the stuff, but you can add it to something already hot). I like thick oatmeal and haven't discovered the formula. But I dont taste it.
