Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
My family member was an addited to some pretty hard stuff. She has been clean and sober for a few years now. She also had gastric Bypass and has done very well. She just celebrated her 2 year surgeryversary. She has lost 234 pounds so far!
It is all in the mind, Do you want to stick to program?
Do you want to live life to the fullest?
Do you want to stay Healthy?
If so You can Do It Too !! I have no doubt of it.
My surgery date is Dec.30th and I look forward to a healthier life with less pain.
I hope you are inspired by those who have done it and are doing well. I know I am. I amso proud of her that I keep a picture of her in my wallet of before and now. So on my rough days I will be able to see it and know I too can do it. My mom had this surgery done and she carries with her her photo jopurnal. She is 73 years old and has lost over 146 pounds in the same 2 year period.
Take Care and know You CAN Do It!!
