Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
In order to stay quasi-regular, or new normal regular I take: fiber supplements (Benefiber), softener (generic Colace), a psyllium product I got at Costco and eat a fiber cracker per day (GG Bran a Crisp) and a probiotic.
Oh, and you have to drink a butt load of water (no pun intended). Water makes everything move.
I was thinking my whole problem could be water.
I have long thought I am not getting enough. I have had cronic UTI' after my surgery which could be associated with water (flushing) too.
Could it be that my body is saying "Look it you if you didn't get it with the UTI's maybe you'll get it now that you can't do anything in the washroom at all!" (i am not gifted that way ; )
As for the big guns, bring them on, I'll do anything!
Funny though I never thought os Senna Tea as big guns though. I have done the phylllium (worke the first time and then never again) and the other stuff ; (
I'll get some Senna Tea if you think that will do it.
