Do you know someone that can do alterations so that you can wear those capri's?

That being said, when I look at pictures of me wearing those same " favorite" outfits I cringe at how bad I really looked. I am so thankful that I have come through this and can pass on my clothes that I no longer can wear to someone else who can and who needs them. Still haven't parted with my shoes that don't fit but they're boxed up and ready to go.
However, it is going to be more fun every month. This summer I was able to pull out the same clothes I wore last summer (size 2 pants)!! Once you get to your target weight you can start to re-build a wardrobe. Until then, just make sure you have 1 or 2 outfits that actually fits you properly at any given time.

I even had to hang onto a couple of baggie tops!
I think this is because I could hide in the baggie clothes... now, most of what I have left is more fitted, or will be for a couple weeks!
I agree with moes... the clothes I am tossing, its not like I looked all that good in them! But it was still hard to part with them...
I know this is a bit different that what you are experiencing... but I think it all kinda lumps into the same thing. Our bodies are changing. And changing so fast, our minds don't have a chance to wrap itself around one point in the journey before we are on to the next!
When we lost wt in years gone by... it was usually a much slower process and it was still hard to let our minds catch up with the smaller us, but not all so fired up in a hurry like our minds try to do now!
This is something I would NEVER have expected when I was preop! I loved the idea of getting rid of as many big clothes as I could... (and I still do!) but it is still a head game!
((((((HUGS)))) to you my beautiful friend!!
Linda
I have been exactly where you are...except I was in the changing room at Old Navy trying on clothes before my honeymoon. I had limited myself to what I thought would fit, 18s at the time and I really needed like a 15 which doesnt exactly exist...so I cried like a baby with my new 16s and by the time we got back from the honeymoon, it was saggy butt city...
Its funny how our body's change so rapidly that we don't have time for our brains to catch up...and its a lot to absorb. That layer of "insulation protection" from the REAL us is gone, baby, gone and that's a SCARY thing!!
Now, laugh, cry, scream, praise, hoot n hollar about your progress and EMBRACE the newness in front of you...afterall, God created us as NEW creatures when we became born again, and this is just the physical transformation!!!

I bought size 8 skinny jeans and thought I would never shrink out of them... Well, I am still wearing them, but I could probably wear a size 6... And my shirts are in between a med and a small... It blows my mind... Clothes I bought 6 weeks ago are too big on me.... I look in the mirror and don't recognize myself at all....
Every day the acceptance gets a little easier.... And I am learning to love the new me... I am grateful that I can hide my saggy skin and no one but me has to see it....
You are beautiful inside and out, and your mind will catch up with your body... Just give it a little more time....
