I have aflac on my job. I submit my claim for being in the hospital and having the surgery they would not pay me because it is a pre exsiting condition. So i am paying them for nothing! I was out of work for 8weeks because with my job i have to do lifting and my doctor had me off for that long. If any one is thinking about geting it save yourself headache and money. It not worth it!!!!!!!

I am sorry that this has happened to you, however that should of been explained to you when you got your policy. As i have aflac and when i first took it out years ago i wanted to do this then. But they told me i would have to wait a year before i could to not be pre exisitng.

Aflac has saved me financially since i have been sick, in the first part of my illness 2 1/2 years ago it paid me well over 10 thousand in STD and hospitalization coverage.

I wouldn't trade it for the world. My brother has this as well and has been very happy with his.

I had GBS in December and they paid me. I was out of work for 8 weeks. Did you get the insurance after you statrted the process? i just got out of the hospital after a hernia operation related to GBS and they will pay me. i would talk to a supervisor at Aflac and the Agent who sighned you up. They should have told you about pre existing conditions.
