Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.

I am so grateful for my choices to have RNY that have totally changed my life. It can change yours too but remember this is just a tool and we all have to still do the work and make changes. Do you research until you are clear about what you want!
don't have the option of a sleeve, this surgeon only will do a bypass after taking out a band, he is one of the best surgeons in Australia,
maybe it is easier to just create the pouch above the lapband and bypass the rest below the band and just throw the band section out, would make sense to me chuck out the rubbish with old scarring on it.
