Today is my 9 month post op day! Its been a wonderful ride! Hard, oh so hard at times... Still struggle with all the head work...
An amazing thing dawned on me today. I have a grad school interview this afternoon.... (Yeah, I'm a ball of nerves! ha!) But, in all my stressing, NOT ONE MOMENT have I stressed over being the fat one in the group... or not fitting into the chairs.... or anything weight related! I have this awesome herringbone blazer to wear and am going to go in looking good! :) Sounds superficial.... but its so nice to at least not be worried about how I'll fit in because of my size.
I have lost 117 lbs... gone from a size 22-24 to a 12 :) In fact, as I was pulling the tags off my new blouse I am wearing today... I realized it is a medium! I didn't see that when I bought it... but me... in a medium!?!?!?
Anyways... cross you fingers I don't throw up on anyone this afternoon! LOL!

I'm right there with you still struggling with the head stuff every single day. It's way preferable to do it from a thinner place.

You are so motivated, and all of these career opportunities are knocking at your door! Grab them, and go for it!! I'm so proud of all that you have accomplished, in addition to the wonderful weight loss!

I'm so happy for you. Your Grad interview is going to go great. Your outlook on life is wonderful.
I think my interview went real well... but I guess I'll know for sure when I hear from the school in the next couple weeks! :)
