I just had my 3 year anniversary and some of you may know my story but many of you probably don't. I don't want to get into it right now...
Long story short, got prego right after surgery put a halt on the loss for a bit, then it started back up and I am still not at my goal. I had over 200 lbs to lose to get to my goal. starting weight was 327. day of surgery 306. I've been fluctuating between 184 and 189 and have been stuck there for 4 weeks. I have a personal goal to lose 40 more lbs before I see my surgeon to discuss skin removal (which scares the heck out of me). I have not been following any diet what-so-ever. And being 3 years out I can pretty much eat anything and it doesn't bother me. Every once in a while chicken kills me and I do NOT eat rice EVER!!!! But sugar and soda have been a weakness of mine and especially the holidays have been horrible. At work everyone brings cookies and sweets as gifts. ARGH!!!!!
Anyway, I just needed to vent and get my tush back in gear. It doesn't help any that I have been sick off and on for the last 3 months.
Enough of my pity party.

You can do this! You have already lost over 100 pounds so you know you can lose weight. Just get back on track now that the holidays are over and become a "rules" girl. Follow all the rules of your plan like you did in the beginning. I wasn't perfect over the holidays but now we are home from traveling and I'm getting back on track. Let's do this!

Glad you shared this - I too need to get back on track!! I will be 2 years post op in February and also can eat just about anything but I know I need to get my booty in gear and get back to the plan as soon as possible. Feeling Motivated!!

This was my first holiday season after surgery and whenever someone brought me any sweets, I graciously accepted and then threw them out!!! Out of sight .....out of mind.

We all struggle at times and i have to say if you look at your before and after picture that you have on line, You have come a long ways!. I understand the frustrations and the fact that you still have 40 pounds you want to loose but don't forget about Where you have come from and how far you have come!! Your a rocking it and i know you can get back on track.

Remember your not alone in this and venting is a great way to ask for the help we sometimes are afraid to ask for. Together we can all do this.

It's okay to have a pity party and then get back on track. I wouldn't even touch any plastics until you are at or under goal for at least a year or more so that you know you will maintain. My dr wants all his patients to wait until they can maintain and won't even recommend it unless you do. Please prove it to yourself first so that you can know your strenght and resolve to stay healthy. Just my two cents
