I just found out that one of my best mates and work colleague was found dead on his bus just yesterday, he had a massive heart attack, I had spoken to him last year about his weight but he was happy with his 400lb frame. such a massive shock, i will miss him.

Sorry to hear about your friend. We never know what time we have here on earth. All we can do is make our choices and move forward with the consequences.
I'm sorry your friend is gone, but if he wasn't ready to make changes, it's what was right for him at the time.
That you and I are making different choices, that's what right for us. Hopefully, it will give us more time with our families here, but if not, we'll be living as well as we can with the time we have.
My sympathies to you and his family. I hope you find comfort from the memories you made together.

Oh Ratsack! I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a friend leaves such a giant black hole in one's life. Take time to grieve and know that you have friends here to support you.

still in shock, never been effected this much by a death, will take time I guess, funeral is next wednesday, took longer to arrange than usual as had to have a autopsy due to passing at work, at least it happened at work now his family will be better looked after by insurance. still doesn't take anything away from their loss, saddest thing was he died alone.
