So, I know I need to ask my Dr, but ever since about 2 weeks out of my surgery I have had this rash all over my stomach, back, pretty my whole torso. Has anyone else had this? It itches and almost looks like little pimples?

I'm not a doctor, but that sounds like an allergic reaction. Do you have an allergy to latex or tape or anything like that? They use all kinds of stuff like that at the hospital. Have you changed your laundry detergent lately? I had a rash like that for a while because we changed detergent and I was allergic to it.

Are you still taking pain meds? Or perhaps it's an ingredient in your protein powder? Defiently have dr check it out!

Definitely sounds like an allergic reaction of some kind. Our bodies change after surgery and cannot tolerate certain foods anymore.

My husband is so sensitive we have to use Dreft, a very mild detergent and I have to double rinse all his underwear.

Please see a doc - it's not worth suffering...

Well, ive used the same detergent for years with no problems. It doesnt look like a a rash though. Uticaria does not have white heads like pimples. But I guess anything is possible.

I agree with everyone else sounds like an allergy.

It could be a bacterial infection if it is pimply. That is what I would suspect, but probably best see a dermatologist. With our bodies changing so quickly, we are susceptible to all kinds of things.... even a skin strep.go get checked.

It could be hives, I have had rashes that look pimply completely cover my neck and chest. I had to be put on prednosone to clear it up. Turns out I am allergic to chocolate.

Nope, I haven't heard of this one before. I had a bit of redness/rash from the surgical tape over my incisions but nothing like what you describe (and I can't remember anyone else mentioning this in the 4 1/2 years I've been here). So, if you are asking me (which you kinda did, LOL) I think this is worth a call to your doctor. Never can be too careful, eh?
