You don't have chewables? I got chewabld calcium citrate at walmart. My doc wanted me taking vits at 3 weeks out.

I talk all chewable vitamins and supplements with the exception of my B1. I am nine months out from RNY. I use Bariatric Advantage chewy calcium bites, centrum gummy vitamins, GNC chewy D3, GNC chewy B12. All taste good and are easy to get down.

My doc did not want me taking any of the chewy vits at this point. Not sure if he will approve later, but they are hard for the tummies at this point. I found a all inclusive from Bariatric Fusion last night that I am going to try. I have been struggling getting a routine down. They found ulcers when they did my endoscopy 2 weeks ago, and I have to take 2 meds, 2x a day, and can't eat anything 3 hrs before and 1 hr after. It is all I can do to get food in much less my vits. So I am going to try this one, and hopefully only have to add b12, which I am going to try to get a shot for the time being.

But check out the calcium citrate from walmart. It does not taste like a 2x4, and the price is right. :)

I started vitamins at 2yrs out. about 2 weeks after my revision surgery. I couldn't tolerate any form of them prior to that. No one really knows quite how the blood work stayed acceptable all that time either. lol

so once my plumbing was working I found a multi mini. it is 30% smaller then a regular vitamin and it is a complete multi....my surgeon said it was a good one but take it 2x a day. it is nature made I take it with milk because vitamins still upset my belly to a point.

How many milligrams did your Dr suggest you take of the biotin, to help prevent or slow down hair loss?

As soon as I got out of the hosptial after my WLS they said to start taking them. I tried chewables and those made me vomit so I had to buy capsules and tried them open in applesauce and they also made me vomit so I was told to swallow them whole and that did the trick. I have to use either Celebrate brand or Bariatric Advantage brand, these are the only two brands my wls program allows since they have found these to be the best when lab work comes back. You can buy them online from Bariatric Choice, if you buy them and open them and can't tolerate them you can return them or exchange them. I had to do that with the $100 worth of chewables I bought and then couldn't take. Thank goodness I was able to exchange them.
