Surgery: 2/6/14...261 lbs.
High Weight: 278 lbs.
As of today, I am 213...total of 48 lbs. since surgery.
I have been really blessed on my journey. I don't get sick, I don't ever dump, and I can eat pretty much anything I want. I don't though, I stick with my plan. My only complaint...I can't poop. I know, probably TMI but it is really awful. When I do get the urge to go it hurts really bad and I don't go much. Oh how I wish I could empty.

Anyway, my next goal is to be under 200 by the end of the month. Keep your fingers crossed. Thank you everyone for being a big part of my journey and for helping me every step of the way. I don't think I could have done this without all of you!

gg, congrats on the weight loss, have you tried stool softners I had problems for the 1st 4 weeks and they really helped alot. sorry you are still having problems 3 months out.

I have tried just about everything except stool softeners. My doctor wanted me to do prunes. So I eat them, like maybe 1 or 2 a day and they do not make a difference. He said that I needed more fiber but I always do protein first and don't have room for fiber. I have an appointment with him tomorrow and I am hoping to get a prescription for Miralax. It is very expensive and if he gives me a prescription my insurance will pay for it. If I don't get that, stool softeners are next.

Great Job. I had the same poop problem. Here is the absolute solution. Benefiber twice a day and colace (1 pill on maintenance).
I had a real problem and now I go beautifully once a day with no pain or stress. Try it and I guarantee within 3 days all will be well. The Benefiber has no taste. I put in my morning coffee and afternoon tea.

Great job!

Make stool softeners your friend. I can go days now without taking them but once in a while I just feel better if I take one or two.
