Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
I know what you mean about feeling like feeding the body becomes a full time job...I've been concerned about that pressure as well once I have my surgery.. but reality is if I had been more conscious prior to this I wouldn't be going thru the surgery now...I'm hoping assuming that it does become 2nd nature eventually :)
Hope you feel better soon......
:-)
I find I am starting to eat a bit faster, and able to eat a little more... I am just about 15 weeks out.... I really have to be conscious as to when my body is full.... But this is newly coming... In the beginning it was a challenge to get everything in .... And I do remember hating the fact that I was constantly thinking about it.... But it truly is becoming second nature slowly ....
Remember to be patient with your body and let it do what it needs to do. Don't force it into anything that it is uncomfortable with just now and it will be able to heal correctly.
