Greetings everyone sorry I haven't been in touch but I wanted to pop in and let you know that I think about you all daily. Right now I am trying to get my husband back oh his feet. Those of you who are on my fb know that he just had hip replacement surgery on thursday and the recovery is rough. He can barely stand day too much less walk but he is a fighter and giving it everything he's got. They were going to release him to come home tomorrow but he decided this morning that he can't put me through this being 4 months out of surgery myself so he is going into rehab for at least seven days. I miss him and want him home so badly but we need to do what is right for him so he can fully recover. This has been, to say the very least a rough year of many changes but I know God is able so we continue to press our way.

To all of those who have stood by my side from the beginning I miss and love you and ask that you continue to keep my family lifted in prayer. For all the newbies keep your head up and know that although I may not have officially made your acquaintance you are in my thoughts and prayers daily. You can do this, I have every confidence in your success.

I will check in again soon right now i'm back and forth between the hospital and home and fighting to stay on schedule with my own regimen and trust it is not easy. Yet still I rise.

I know you miss having your hubby at home, but the rehab center is probably best for a while. They can do LOTS more therapy there and get him on the right track faster. That will be more help to you than anything else. Good luck to both of you!

Hi, Tam! Good to see you. I hope your hubby heals fast and that you continue to do well.

I got my surgery date. Having the sleeve on September 16th. You were an inspiration to me in my early days of looking into wls.

From the pic you posted on FB, your hubby does look like he fared well! Rehab will be good for him and help get him mobile quickly :) Glad you are doing well overall!

Have been wondering where you have been.....thanks for keeping us all in your thoughts and prayers. With you by his side as an inspiration your hubby can do nothing but be successful....praying for a speedy recovery for him.

It truly has been a year of challenges for you, but our Heavenly Father is the ultimate refiner and the more that happens, the more clearly you reflect HIM! Sending prayers your way and hopeing your husband has a speedy recovery. (I work in an Orhtopedic office and I can say that the best thing after having an arthroplasty done is to go to a rehab facility. They'll work with him through physical therapy and occupational therapy so that he (and you) is ready to go home)
