Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. Good Luck!
Giving in to the cravings ain't worth the pain! LOL! I bought a watermelon They are cold and sweet and a real nice desert. They didn't make me sick.
My wife makes a smoothie with a bananna, some strawberries, a cup of milk yougurt and crushed ice in the blender sweetened with equal. Very good and don't make me sick.
A few thoughts...
If you've been eating more simple carbs than normal you are probably stuck in the carb craving cycle. The 5 day pouch test can help you "detox."
The first year, I was religious about eating 3 meals a day with no snacking. in between. If you are craving apples and peanut butter, make it part of one of those meals (eating protein first and keeping a ratio of 3 bites of protein for every 1 bite of anything else).
Insanity is tough stuff. Heck, the warm-up kicked my butt!! Extreme cardio like that will make you hungry. THe frustrating thing is it is super-easy to eat more calories than you just burned!!
You are gonna get to your goal. I feel it in my bones!! ;)
