just wondering. how long did everyones post op pain last? I am not doubled over but still sore. Its been a week and three days. I am sure its just my impatient self! lol Just ready to get back to life.

Pain is a fleeting memory, but if I look at my book it says at day 20: "One night, one night on my side without pain, please." Upside: I can sleep on my back now.

Keep on truckin', this is normal (if the degree is manageable) and we all get through it, move on and forget it.

Of course, if it is sustained and quite painful, contact your team.

I am 9 days out and have absolutely no pain! A lot of stinkin itching at the incision sites, but no pain! May be worth a phone call to make sure all is normal!

Sounds pretty normal. I was sore for the first 2 weeks that I remember. I took tylenol during the day and the prescription stuff at night, because I wanted to be doing stuff during the day.

LOL now you'll see some here who claim they never used morphine or pain meds and never felt a thing. But I'd tell you your pain seem about normal to me. Now I'm a guy so my threshold for pain is way less than you girls but that's about right. FYI once that's over, the nighmare begins with real food. That'll make you wish you had the pain back. LOL

It takes 2-3 weeks for all those incisions and inside stuff to heal. So soreness gradually dissipates as you heal.

I didn't totally stop the Rx pain meds until day 19 when I went back to work. I slowly took less and less for the last week.

I don't really remember alot of pain...but then again...I was on "drugs". lol!
