I had my last visit with my surgeon on Thursday. I just asked some of the same questions as I did from our first meeting. And everyone there at the office is helpful and if I have any other questions I can call! My surgery on the 21st. Good Luck to you!

well i didn't have any really for my surgeon as i had gotten the questions answered via email over the months. But i would want to know if he uses, staples, stiches, glue for the incisions? Will i have a drainage tube? How long is the recovery period if you don't know already.

I've had some friends have staples for their incisions and mine used glue and the drainage tube i still have and i am sure he will do stitch and glue.

Do you know your recovery time? How long you will be out of work? Each person is different but they can give you a basic idea.

Tornadoladi, I am taking 3 weeks off. God willingly if all goes well I might return to work within two weeks but I am putting in for 3 weeks disability.

I just let him know that I have a young child and needed to make it through surgery for her and my husband. He reassured me that he was very skilled. It helped me feel better since that was my fear. All did go well!!! Best of luck with your surgery.

make sure you can tolerate the protein shakes before surgery , i couldn't and has was hospitalize twice . I had a tough two weeks ,but remember it gets better.
