Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
You'll do much better if you follow your nut's program and stick with the measurements that they give you.
For my program, I was to gradually increase from 1/4 c. to 1/2 between six weeks and 6 months PO. After that, I used calories to control myself. My nut wanted me to eat 800 - 1000 calories. Any more than 1000 calories, and I'd see my weight loss stop.
Hope this helps. :)
