i know everybody is different but i always cold. i was always hot but every since surgery i have been cold and my body is very stiff. Is it just me

I find that even before surgery, when I'd 'diet' and consume low calories, I'd be freezing all the time. Now, post-op..I'm super super cold too.

I got prescribed blood pressure meds for the first time AFTER surgery, and that makes me even colder. my poor husband, lol

I'd venture a guess to say that most peeps will say they're colder until their body gets a bit used to this new way of life!

I feel cold often now... especially if I need calories but part of it is just that I am not covered and coated with fat.

With the exception of the hot flashes (gotta love middle age lol) I am always cold. I have low functioning thyroid and it got out of wack after surgery on top of it all. So march of last year I was shopping for an electric blanket. That helped me. I was using a heating pad on my feet before then. I found if i could keep my hands and feet warm that was half the battle for me.

Nope. It's not just you! Pre-surgery, I was always hot. Those days are long gone. I think I first noticed it a month or so after surgery and I still run on the colder side 2 years later. The good news is that being cold burns more calories than being warm!!

As I sit here with 2 pairs of socks on my still cold feet I would say you are not the only one LOL

I think its normal, I noticed maybe a week post op, pre op I liked to be naked! LOL I was always hot, and sweaty. But now my husband says put some more clothes on Im not turning the heaters up! And if I feel really really cold I will take a hot bath and get dressed warm, fuzzy socks are my best friend.
