So, when I began this journey my daughter have me a pair of jeans. Silvers. Size 32.I have had them hanging in my closet for over two years (I had a long wait for my surgery due to battling the insurance company)! Today as I put away my laundry, I took them out to see if I could at least pull them over my butt. I pulled them up and zipped them. Holy COW! They fit! 17 weeks out, 85 pounds. Incredible! I almost want to cry. This has been an amazing journey and I am loving life. It has exceeded my hopes from when I began to think about surgery. I am healthy, strong, and active. Able to buy clothes from a normal store! SAWEET!

That is awesome! I can't wait to be able to fit into my 2 very full totes that are holding all the clothes that are to small for me. Great job!

I am so excited for you! Right now I am a 20 or 22 depending on where I buy my jeans. my first goal is to fit into the dress my aunt made for my mom who gave it do me before she passed away in hopes I might be able to wear it someday. I am pre op and you are an inspiration to me :)

Thaihorse, you will wear that dress! Don't doubt it! I never thought I would get into those jeans, and that was OK! I just wanted to feel good. The jeans were a bonus :) Good luck to you on your journey!

That is sooooo awesome!!

I have a pair of jeans that I use to wear about 18 years ago... They were my all time faves and I couldn't seem to part with them! After I divorced my 1st husband, I lost like 100 lbs and actually managed to keep it off for like 4 or 5 years (long story!) Anyways, these jeans are a size 12... and I kept them... One day I hope to get back into them again. You give me hope I will!

My husband dug out the pair of jeans I had when we met and hung them on the door in the hallway. I see them everyday!!! I don't know when they will fit - I'm not worrying about that, yet I know that ONE day they WILL fit.

PS: I also told him that when I get those things on - there better be some bling in the pocket!!!
