I was allowed to eat vegetables. Are you allowed to eat anything?
Good luck! You've come to the right place.
As for the vitamins, I found some gummy multi vitamin that works well, you can chew them easily, and calcium citrate I ordered from Bariatric Advantage on line. They come in a variety of flavors and taste kind of like candy. I can swallow small pills, so take Biotin twice per day with water. I also take sub-lingual Vitamin B-12 once per week along with Vitamin D.
My surgery center gave me a list of tried and true vitamins and protein shakes.
Hope this gives you some ideas =)
As for vitamins, my dr told me the best multi vitamin are simply the Flintstones Complete. Pre-surgery it was one a day, post it is two a day (breakfast and dinner). I also take calcium citrate, but have yet to find a chewable I like. (My dr also says NO gummy vitamins.) I also take a B-12 lozenge and a vitamin D gel cap once a week. With the exception if the vit D, all are chewable/lozenges, so they were good before and after surgery.
Good luck! And welcome!
As far as the vitamins, I take Centrum Adult Chewable. Part of your journey will be to gradually change your eating habits. You will eat healthier and will get some of what you need from that,. Your Dr. will keep track of your levels and tell you what to take. Good luck to you as you start this journey, it is going to be amazing! Wait till you see yourself in 6 months, and then a year! WOW!!!
As for vitamins I use "Bariatric Fusion", I don't need to take any other supplements. In fact I just had lab work done on Monday and all my levels are normal. Bariatric vitamins are made specifically for our new anatomy. Over the counter childrens vitamins don't have everything we need and you'll need to take additional supplements.

As for vitamins, here is what I take:
Liquid calcium citrate, blueberry flavored. I bought mine at Fred Meyers. I take 2 tbsp a day, usually mix it into one of my drinks. I take it in the afternoon as I am not suppose to take it within 2 hrs of my other vitamins.
In the AM I take 2 centrum chewables. I am glad I have the chewables cause crushing up the regular ones after surgery probably taste like a donkeys butt, like my other pills do!
I crush up and add to applesauce (I am only 6 days post op) my biotin and my D3 along with my BP meds. All of which taste like a donkeys butt, but I take them anyways.
On Sundays I take B12, sublingual... I have a reminder set in my phone so I don't forget!
As I mentioned, I am day 6 post op and have gotten mine in every day since I've been home from hospital :)
Don't feel bad for reaching out! I too feel I am strong and capable.... but needing support from others is not a sign of weakness... Independence, sure it is good! But interdependence is even better!
Hope to 'see' you around!

I take the bariatric fusion vits. $25 a month, chewable and other than tasting a tad sweet, they are not bad. And as mentioned before they are complete and designed for wls patients.
The pre diet is the hard part. Nothing to curb your hunger and it feels like it lasts forever. Lots of sf jello and broth. Also protein shakes that are water based. Sleeping through it helps if possible. :) venting on here also helps. Lol. We have all been there, or will be there.
