Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.
Craving something isn't uncommon, neither is eating a couple of bites and being full. That part is good! I now eat 1 piece of chicken. I used to eat CHICKENS! not pieces! LOL!
I am well over 60 and look like crap but not a blob any more thanks to my RNY! Life is great!
I still crave the good stuff: steak, seafood, ribs and cheese, and the best thing is since I eat so little of it, I can afford it once in a while! LOL!
Wait until the T-bones go on sale, and turn one into 4 meals, one tonight, 3 for the freezer. Whoo hoo! Anyone can afford 1 King Crab leg. That and an artichoke and I'm good to go! A half rack of ribs gives me 2 dinners and 2 lunches. So good!
Love these changes--don't you? Glad you're doing so well.
