Hi Guys! I separated 3.5 years ago and divorced 2.5 years ago. I was married for 17 years. I was just asked on my first official date with a guy I have known for several months. This will be my first real days in over 2 decades. I am so excited and nervous as heck. Any advice???

I agree with the ladies be yourself. you established a relationship already don't forget that. try to just see it as dinner with a friend and enjoy.

No...Kat...you did not offend but you did make me laugh...I am so giddy I feel like a teenager...I am like...what do I wear...do I have the right shoes...how do I do my hair? It is so silly! I am really happy!! We'll see how it goes...but it is a new beginning!!

you have beautiful hair. when mine is bouncing and still behaving (does not happen often) I wear it down or just a simple head band. but if the curls are out of control like you I put it back in a nice clip .

for me when I am eating my hair is back in some fashion. hair in food is not attractive

so what are you wearing? dress , pants? I'm nosy. I'm happy for you too it will be fantastic you will love it.

where is he taking you? you should be excited you basically are a teen again and its fantastic :)

From a guy's perspective; have fun and be yourself. Don't worry about what he thinks, he already thinks your great because he asked you out. You have the easy job; let him impress you. I think I'm breaking "guy" code by telling you this, lol. Enjoy.
