Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.

I also agree with Lcat that you don't need to worry about calories at this point. Your super-efficient, wonderful body has been storing extra fuel, preparing for a famine that never came. So, now it is going to do what it was designed to do and burn that excess fuel (by eating/drinking 70+ grams of protein each day, your body will burn the excess fat rather than muscle).
So, no worries! At this point, you just need to focus on doing your part of the deal (water, mindful eating, protein, vitamins, move)! Trust the process. It really works. I promise!
