I'm gonna be 6 months post-op on the 23rd, and I still feel like I have one, in the lower abdomen area. They finally sent me to the OB/GYN, and I have 2 complex cysts on my right ovary, and they discovered that my bladder doesn't empty all the way. Now I'm waiting to go to a URO/GYN, that specializes in both areas. Of course the complex cysts have a greater chance of becoming cancerous, and so they keep watching them. Cancer is high in my family, and I've had pre-cancerous lesions removed before. So, I'm a bit nervous about all this waiting.
I'm surprised at how much liquids your getting in.........it took me forever, and I still don't get in all I'm supposed to. They did recommend that I start taking a cranberry vitamin that helps with urinary tract.
Good luck with getting yours straightened out. Happy to hear that everything else is going good.
You post really has me thinking.
I suspect I have cycst but did not look into it because I was afraid they would put this surgery on hold after waiting so long..
After your post i will have this looked at asap.
I am sorry your infection spread. I am a seasoned pro at the UTI and I know exactly when the bomb has hit.
You will learn the signs and learn to act quickly so as not to make things worse.
As you know this will not go away on it's own.
I like your ides about the cranberry supplement.
My own advice would be ... If you have pain ask your Dr to give you Phenazo so you can have a day or so to get into his office for antibiotics.
I pretty much treat myself now and have all my drugs at the ready.
Maybe your infections do not present as pain so you have difficulty interpreting them.
Oh BTY I already know my bladder doesn't empty all the way either.
It seems we have a lot in common.
Thanks , I will make a drs appointment today.
