So I have these weed/tree things in my back yard. I don't know what they are, they grow really fast and have round little leaves and their branches have huge thorns. they grow sort of in a line. they grow very tall if they aren't stopped, like twice as high as the house at least. someone at the hardward store said they are sprouting up from a tap root or something. Anyway, I paid a lot of money to have them cut down to the stumps but they started growing again really fast. The branches were cut back again. I saw something online about pouring salt water and vinegar on the stumps to stop growth? Does that really work? I don't really want to use a chemical like Round up if I don't have to. Any advice on this would be appreciated. I can't afford to hire anyone else professional right now to deal with it. thank you!

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
You can get a tree stump killer and kill the old tree. You can get large bags of salt, similar to road salt. Dig down a bit..... An inch or two. Spread heavily around each one.
Or check with a nursery for a poison. Or dig them out..... Which is a MAJOR job.
Look for the source.... Meaning, the Mother tree, where the roots come from.
No doubt about it. Those root sprouting trees are a force of nature. Even when you manage to take out the Mother Tree, the roots go on and on and on and on. . .
Sigh. . .
