with winter approaching quickly here in the northeast I decided to move my basil plant inside. I figure let me see how it goes and worst case I still have time to put it back outside before it gets cold. So far so good.. I also bought a cactus from my nieces school fair last weekend. I know it doesn’t need anything really but I guess it can keep my basil plant company on the windowsill this winter and they can be friends.

Don't be dismayed if the basil dies. They usually do each winter.

I just discovered a few days ago that my cinnamon basil from last year came back. Even left sitting neglected in a pot. Amazing.
Also I feel like a dork lol. I mean I just noticed it!

We had light frost this morning. Covered up my green beans, lettuce, rosemary & celery with a tarp. Temps are warming up to the 70s next week!

Hey Don :-) A cactus would probably suit me. Surely can't go wrong with a cactus.
