RIPPED OFF OR ALMOST RIPPED OFF.
Have you ever been ripped off, or almost ripped off? What happened? ONE AT A TIME!
EXAMPLE:
Went to mom and pop restaurant for a steak and cheese 6 inch hoagie with drink (for $3.50). Gave the woman a $20 and she gave me back $11. Then she apologised for not giving me the $5.
Then she SAYS to the guy sitting next to me, well, you two shared french fries. and he says to her, Yeah, and i paid for the french fries and french fries only cost $1.50 anyway. So it was no accident at all. wth?
so, this was an "almost ripped off."

Italian chain restaurant that i eat at often, used a different branch for a chicken parm on spagetti to go.
#1, at this other branch it was AWFUL.
2. there was a layer of cheese and a slim piece of chicken but no cutlet, like at the normal restaurant.
3. it was packed in a box so the person wouldn't see they put it in a small round metal pan instead of the large one AND the spagetti was too dry!
IT COULDN'T HAVE BEEN WORSE! i meant to go back and complain to the owner but still haven't. $12.00. for total SHIT!!!
when she weighed the cookies that cost $10.95 and $11.95 per pound, instead of weighing them individually on wax paper like a normal place does, she put them into the plastic container and then added as she went, like the first cookie was .03 in weight and a normal price, the next was .07 because it was two and twice the price and she keeps ADDING these. wtf? she knew she was caught too! i was like, well, guess i'm NEVER coming back here, they get ONE more chance and then i'll make a scene. what an asshole.
bought 3 whole lobsters at winn dixie, cooked and packaged and priced. too good a price to let it go. get to k's for brunch with them, and open the package and it REEKS of ammonia. had to bring them back. they should pay damages on something like that, how could they NOT KNOW they did that! could have gotten tomaine poisoning off of it!
