I took the day off, and just enjoyed my time with my dogs, and went for a walk with my mom, did a tiny bit of shopping and cleaned my house. 68 days ago, I would have been running to the casino. I haven't had any urges, but yesterday, was a super over the top emotional day. Working in an office, that appears to be getting ready to close its doors, I'm one of the last people standing, and there are a lot of emotional people there. I had two in my office, in tears yesterday.

I realized that although I'm concerned, fear isn't an option, I have faith that all will be okay. This last time around for me was the worst, I had lost a job after being with the company for 10 years, I was laid off, and I didn't see it coming, it put me in a whirlwind of emotions, I believe even a depression. I wasn't let go because of my performance, I was let go because they moved to Texas. I felt as though I was a failure and took it to a whole new extreme. So now, when I see things happening that are really out of my control, I am learning to deal with them better, otherwise, running would be my next step, and I don't want to be a runner anymore, I don't want to run to the casino and escape, anymore. I am dealing with things head on, and trying to stay as calm as possible during the process.

In other words, I no longer feel like a failure, today, I am strong, I am confident and I know, I'm a good person. 68 days ago, that wasn't the case.
