I paid my insurance, and I paid my cc all in one day, I still have a small payment on my insurance to make, but in time I can pay it and I will be ok.
This is a victory for me, because, one of my battles with gambling, was if I win, then I can pay my bills worry free.......................nope!
I never won enough to pay my bills and was broke by the time it came to pay my bills, so I would be miserable and depressed for the next two weeks.
Today I am broke, but I paid my bills I promised I would pay and I still yet am in good standing with my creditors.
I am on my way to improving my credit, and have more money now that I didn't gamble.
I know I have a gambling problem, I hate that I do, but it is still there. and I have to make myself not gamble, and am choosing to use my will to do it.
I am no worse or better than the next person but I am happy/.proud of my self that I stopped before I lost stuff.

You, ABSOLUTELY, have every damn right to be proud/happy of what you are accomplishing. You have a good handle on the choices that are available to you....to gamble or not....that is the question? I think we all have those same two choices before us each and every day.
Today, you have chosen not to gamble, and you have made such a wise and informed decision. I did the same too, on this day, and feel a sense of accomplishment.
I applaud you for your steadfastness and commitment, despite the fact that I worry thAt you return to the lion's den and watch your significant other "partake in the festivities". I'm not sure I would have that much strength.
Keep working it, day by day, inch by inch.....You've come a long way! Baby!!!!! Let this journey continue for you, and all of us. We are all worth the efforts we are making to provide for a better life.
