Trying to stay Focused!!!

Hi guys, I haven't posted anything in a long time,but I have been reading your posts everyday. The gambling is still pretty bad ,the other day I went gambling and lost $380.00. As I was leaving and driving a long way back home my engine light came on and my car started puttering. I guess thats karma getting back at me for doing something stupid. Now I don't have any transportation. Later that night I was on youtube and I searched women with gambling addiction. I found this interesting video called "Understanding Joy" its a video about a womens gambling addiction and the consequences. It really hit home and had me balling in tears because I don't want this addiction to get me to this point. Thank god today is payday. Hopefully I will just focus on getting my car fixed and not doing anything stupid.

Chrissy hang in there! Sometimes I think "stupid" is my payoff for gambling. I know I always play until I am broke and feeling "stupid". But we are not stupid, we know what we need to do and you do too! Just so no more stupidity; I am worth it. I am worth feeling good about myself! It is really hard and I would be even more lost without this website. Keep reading, reading, reading! Good luck

sounds like you both are sick and tired of being sick and tired due to gambling. I got to that point earlier this year, and I knew that day walking out of the casino: I was tired of what gambling has done to me/or what I allowed it to do to me.

take it one 'no gambling' day at a time. none of us have the perfect magic formula to help someone stop, heck, it is a day-to-day struggle. but I keep the faith and the hope that if others can stop, I can too! and you can, too! believe that. have a good evening.
