No delete, no rewind......just one day at a time. I am re committing myself to kicking this addiction. I am truly powerless over this monster and I detest the person I have become as a result . I want to recover myself....rediscover who I am and return to a life without the drama that inevitability follows addiction of any kind....

It is possible, I am living proof. I have answered yes to all 20 of the GA 20 questions. I used other people's money to gamble with, nearly lost my freedom, lost home, relationship(s), car, home, pretty much everything but the clothes on my back. Suicidal, isolated, scared and full of self loathing I finally committed to saying goodbye to gambling. Treatment, a face to face support group and D/S are some of what helped to gain 7 plus months of abstinence.
I used many tools. If you are willing to do whatever it takes to quit, there are lots of resources on this site, YouTube, Facebook.
I am sure you can find some tools that will work for you. Try not to beat yourself up too much about what you cannot undo, let it live in the past. Give yourself some strokes for voicing out loud your desire to quit and for reaching out.

I don't know if there was any drama in my life, there was definitely unrest. Calm could not be found. Chasing that big win only to give that jack pot back. Crazy.
Give me Calm and a good nights sleep. It has been a few month since I have been to a casino and sleep is so much better. Ahhhh, I can live with me again.

It is a hard life to chase that money.
