It's been a while since I dont post here at dailystrenth....but I've been reading almost all the posts and took all the good advises on how to fight this horrible addiction. For this reason...before going to my GA meeting I really want to thank u to be so supporting...especially ATTICUS63..u are such a good conselor to me...and it's free( I owe u a good dinner). The last awful day that I sat in front of a ONE-ARM BANDIT was November 4 2012....after 14 hours I left that stinky-smoky place call casino broke and really...really depressed. Today is day 18 gambling free...one day at time. thank u...I love all of u

I think I"m only at 5 or 6 days so 18 looks pretty sweet to me. I'm going to aim for 18 so it doesn't seem such a huge hill right now.

Asi, I am so happy that you have been able to stay away from the casinos. If I remember correctly you have a bunch around where you live. It makes it hard, and I say way to go! Assisi, thanks for sharing part of your journey with us. Especially the part of the depression... cuz' I need to be reminded of that horrible feeling. I am bet free for 5weeks now and Im still coming out of the fog , so I dont want to go back to that awful place and feel that depression.
