hello everyone. i had a tempting situation yesterday. a girl i met from canada at the casino awhile back was visiting yesterday from toronto. she called me in the morning and said she was gona be at the casino all day. i had to work so i told her i would call her afterwards. i tried to explain to her that i had quit drinkin and gambling...but i could tell she wanted nothing to be with that conversation. when i met her the first time we met it turned into basically a 48 hr drinking and gambling binge at the time it seemed fun...but bye the end of the binge i had lost like 2500$ and drank probably 3 gallons of booze. needless to say it was not a situation i wanted to repeat. i thought about going to casino and not drinkin..but if she was gona be drinkin and gambling i figured that i would just be boring and no fun to her. so i debated for a few hrs late last night to call her...but i finally decided i could not put myself in that situation. i never even called her back cause i knew how persistent she would be. i somewhat feel bad but what was i supposed to do? our relationship was basically based on drinkin and gambling anyway. i probably wont hear from her again...but just as well i cant continue to be in destructive situations. im at the point where i have to do the right thing for myself. no one else is gona pay my bills when i go broke. i guess it hard for other people to realize how much i have lost gambling. they just see me as a fun guy that likes to drink and gamble alot. i now prefer to be the boring sober guy. alot less stressful and cheaper thats for sure! well thanks everyone for reading and im glad to say im still gamble free! take care everyone!
