In the words of the late great singer Alliyah, "If at first you don't suceed, dust yourself off and try again!" I've been there! The last time I relapsed two years ago, I thought about suicide. Seriously and that's when I callede 1-800-522-4700 which is the number to the National Association of Problem Gamblers. A compassionate person answered the phone. I never want to forget how I felt that day! When I'm triggered, I remember and that allows me to tell HELL NO, I won't go. My heartbreaks thinking about it! I was broken, but the potter put me back together again! I'm not where I wanna be however, I thank GOD that I'm not where I use to be. In the damn Casino, praying, wishing and hoping to win. I now know that when I win I lose (only takes me on a chase for another win, form of escape) and when I lose, I lose. For me, it's a no win situation. I love you and I'm praying for you.
