I feel that when gambling I don't laugh as much and not as happy. I used to laugh more at jokes and movies and tv shows. I feel that I'm in this cloud and gambling occupies most of my mind through out the day. I'm worried about what's going on in the sporting game I bet or if the lines have moved in the later games. I used to enjoy all the other things in life more but the rush from gambling and winning bets became more important. I also replay games I bet that lost thinking I should've bet the other side or a team I liked that I didn't bet covered the spread easily. It's pretty sad and pathetic when I think about it. Just needed to get that off my chest.
It was miserable, it took all my time, if I wasn't actively gambling I was either figuring out how to cover my losses, planning the next gamble or having my sleep interfered with by the sounds/feelings of gambling. I didn't eat well, I didn't exercise well, I didn't pay attention to anything towards the end, except gambling, resulting in disaster in just about every area of my life.
Are you still gambling? I hope you have an escape plan from the vicious circle. My heart goes out to you, I don't want to return to that place.
