I know how scary your situation may seem to you at the moment, and on top of that being pregnant has to be horrible for you. I’m sorry. Please stay strong and keep doing the next right thing.
I don't know if this will help but there is a Federal agency that will help folks if they are close to foreclosure on the house they are living in----here is a link:

Hugs, I too had to just breathe and do the next right thing for my first few months gambling free. It is hard but worth the fight to get your sanity and life back.
I almost.... But I clicked on the little bookmark I made yesterday on my phone and your reply literally brought me to my knees and I sobbed... In a good way. The fact that I'm not alone is enough for today to keep me from going, keep me focused. So I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I'm not sure where you live, but there are local agencies to help with the electric. Call the county social services, or local charities. Where I live Catholic Charities provides assistance to prevent electric shutoff in the winter.
I know that as a gambler, part of the allure is that there is an immediate result ... Win or lose. My brain has become accustomed to a faster resolution... The recovery, not as immediate. I have to retrain my brain to expect slower results. I have also put myself and my husband in debt that is drowning us. But I have to believe that if there was a way into this, then there is a way out. I just have to be patient.
Feel free to private message me, if you like. My situation is very similar to yours. I'm not pregnant but I have 5 kids, so I can relate. Haha
Here's to Day 2...
Yestorecovery's post also has a link to the National Council on problem gambling. There is counseling available for little or no cost in many states that have legal gambling and those folks can tell you if it is anything like my state. My state provides counseling and education to problem & compulsive gamblers AND their loved ones (whether the gambler is in treatment or not) all paid for by our state lottery funds. I personally needed therapy to get quit, GA was not enough for me by itself.
A week without gambling, keep going. I keep thinking everyday is a payday for you without gambling, know what I mean? One day at a time. Your payday trigger might last longer than you want it to, be prepared for it, think about exactly what you have to do and why, I know it’s not easy, but given enough time away from gambling it will cease to have the same power over you become just a bad memory of how it use to be.
