I was at the gym tonight, and heard this song playing.
It brought back a lot of memories, because at the beginning of my addiction, this was played at my casino a lot. I remember many, many occasions where I would lose big, and I'd hear this song and think "yeah, actually everything will be ok...I'll get the money back in the future and pay it off if I stop gambling".
And it was exactly that reasoning that drove me deeper and deeper into my addiction.
I am now 13 days GF. It has been a bit harder than I had expected, with "glimpses of gambling thoughts" flashing into my mind every now and then. It helped that I left my credit card at home today.

Those triggers are sneaky little buggers. A song, a smell, a sound, all our senses were engaged at the casino (except our "common sense!")
Stay the course, and keep dancing AWAY from the casino, and you WILL be OK!

By the way, see if you can clear your calendar for late Summer, early fall 2013. Plans are underway for our 1st Annual DSGA Family Reunion taking place in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. Everyone from this board is welcome to attend - it will be an opportunity for us to meet one another in person and have some fun times.
