quiet on here lately?

not sure if thats good or bad, any way, ive passed the 60 day mark, i feel since i moved, (an additional 45 min away from a casino) plus traffic, etc, if i really wanted it i would have done it, also my house was sold and i have a fresh start, which i dont want to ruin, my mind is preoccupied w/a new way of spending my time, my quality time, i'm closer to where my daughters dad lives, and that free's us both up to see her, so im not alone all weekend long.

i work in an industry that i'll have to go to vegas two more times in 2015, i think about it, and not sure if by march - june I'll be so rock solid it wont be a concern

i think about the deepest darkest moments of sadness and how lost i felt and there was a hole in my chest and it just couldnt get filled up no matter what i did, i've become a more vulnerable and genuine and authentic person due to this addiction, and i'm grateful to have a 2nd chance, and a clear mind and an opportunity to not waste my life

Yes it has been quiet here. Congrats on 60 days! I just got 60 too. Here is to our moving on to 90! Thanks for the prayers, I need them.

Congratulations! It's so great you are doing well. By the time you go to Vegas you will be stronger. By planing ahead you can keep yourself safe. I've never been there and I have no desire to go now. I did go to Atlantic City once before I became addicted.


I've seen it get very quiet here over the past couple of years too. One time I posted " I think i'm alone now... There doesn't seem to be anyone around" I even started talking to myself Ha Ha! Don't worry, It will pickup. It always does.

Congrats to both of you on 60, today is 29 for me, which is the most for me in at least 10 years, probably more. I have also noticed that it was quiet here lately, hopefully a good thing. Hoping everyone here stays gamble free.

Hi - I'm holding my breath. I have not gambled in 16 days, but only because of circumstances (or perhaps a little divine intervention). My sister, with whom I usually go to the casino, is busy elsewhere and I have no other means of transportation. I do not miss it and I have no desire to go back. I want to keep those 16 days and add to it. (I was struggling with day 1 for months!) I really want to make this work. I pray for strength and willpower (for all of us!!!).

I though it was extra quiet around here, too. I've been sick with pneumonia, but checked and hopefully everyone has just been busy living life without gambling.


congratulations to everyone for milestones: no matter how many days, it's a milestone.

have a great gamble free day today. I'm finally going back to work today. whew!
