so w/all the back and forth, I figured, I'd show how money is good...and used for what is meant for life to be happy

July i took my 11 year old to Disneyworld

600.00 flight

800.00 park tickets - MGM and Magic Kingdom w/fast passes

1200 hotel and rental car and misc food....

all while paying my usual mortgage of 2,200 and all the ccards and utilities, back to school clothes/food etc (prob adds up to 3500.00 every month)

so - lets hear positive stories of how STOPPING gambling has enhanced your life

as small as paying for groceries w/cash or stopping the calls from the bill collectors, ITS ALL WORTH IT......

Next year for my 50th.. HAWAII!!

120.00 on a manicure for me and pedicure for my very pregnant daughter

145.00 on my Hair

1000.00 on Lots and lots and lots of baby clothes and goodies like a double stroller because she has a 2 yr old

200.00 on back to school clothes for my other 2 grand daughters (we love to spoil them)

300.00 on a "Sprinkle" party for my very pregnant daughter. Sprinkle because it wasn't a full blown Baby Shower! lol

Now I'm just straining my brain! But life sure is nice without throwing away the money my husband works so hard for.

A positive dollar amount starts when I have cash in my pocket and the next day I still have some, and the day after that I still have some!! Money well spent can bring much more joy. Stay strong.

I celebrate the small victories everyday. I am no longer living paycheck to paycheck. I am paying all of my bills on time and I have money left to put into savings. I no longer worry constantly about paying rent, buying groceries, putting gas in my car or buying some new clothes when needed. I can put together a budget and actually stick to it because I won't be stealing from myself anymore. I have extra money to enjoy small hobbies and I can treat myself to something every now and again. I am no longer being robbed by a casino. I have watched my debt shrink from sink figures down to nearly a quarter of it's original amount. I am not riddled with anxiety about money anymore. My apartment looks like a normal person lives there! It actually has stuff in it! Nice stuff! I've moved on from the anger and bitterness over what I've lost. Now I look toward the future with optimism and hope.
