As for GA meetings, there's a saying you've probably heard: I go to meetings to find out what happens when you don't go to meetings. The first time I heard that I wasn't sure how to take it- just another saying, a little cold hearted, perhaps, brilliant- all the above??? As I approach 20 months, I can certainly see it is unfortunately very true. Having said that, I did pare down my meetings- I used to go to 3 per week, now I've decided to dedicate myself to 2 per week- my "home" room and my 2nd home room, so to speak. The "home" room is Thursday nights and frankly, it's pretty damn tough going week in and week out some nights, but, for me, it's crucial to keep that commitment and to keep the reason I went in the first place fresh in my mind, not to mention that I paid a pretty huge price for my seat, so I ought to use it.
