Good evening everyone!! I am so sorry I have been away for such a long time, I had to do some self reflection with my life. I am back and will be here to stay going forward offering support anyway I can!

I took a moment to take a look at my life and see what I have accomplished and given up in the last 27 years. I have discovered gambling has made me a person that I used to hate to be around. I am slowly getting my self accustomed to NEVER gambling again. It is not because of the financial situation eventhough I know there is no way EVER of getting ahead. It is not because all the time I have given to this addiction--approximately 9 years and only took 15-20 days off in that time (sad I know). I am not doing this because of the anxiety, distress, depression, anger, mood swings this addiction has caused me. Nor am I doing this for the countess friends, family, and even strangers that was in the middle of my lying, selfishness, anger, or attitude.

I am doing this for myself. I am 27 years old. I thank God I just realized I have one life. ONE LIFE. (THIS CURRENT LIFE) I am sick of wasting it gambling everyday...being in a bad mood when I lose, waiting for payday to cover bills or checking account. I want a bad day to consist of getting stuck in a rainstorm when I am running outside. I want to become more active and supportive in my family, friends, and all of your lives. I want to support each one of you with this journey. There will be challenging days, but my mind is made up. I am quitting to save my life and start living it. I hope this post sparks everyone to quit for this specific reason. When you are on your deathbed and you think about your life...please don't let gambling fog all the triumps of your glorious days on this beautiful Earth!!
