that money wasnt yours to begin with, so now you are ok, and it brought you closer to sobriety, money has nothing to do with it, its just what drives the addiction. it could be peanuts, it doesnt matter..
Just like Stop and Its said...winning is losing and the house always wins.
Secretly in the worst throws of my addiction I'd think to myself that I was glad I lost and didn't hit a big jackpot on a particular night---cuz it meant I left the casino earlier & saved some personal time I could spend at home instead of in that hell hole.
Don't beat yourself up over it...we've all done it. Learn from it and apply it to the future...now that's a TRUE winning.
