Unfortunately, I don't really have any good advise to give you, my initial first few weeks, I was financially devastated, but, I was able to make it through, one day at a time, its not easy, but, you can do it.

Not sure of the extent of your problems, but as leap said, just take the issues one day at a time and don't try and solve all the problems at once.
If you have bills that are coming due, you can always be honest with the creditor and let them know that you're unable to pay right now and they may be able to work something out. If you don't face the issues, they will become worse and may cause pressure to go back out there and that, for sure, will make things worse.
Hang in there and try to keep it simple- I know it's very, very tough when you first stop- but you can do it.

I understand where you are coming from. I am still struggling to pay my debts, and for the first few months, I had to call my creditors and tell them to expect no payment from me. The best advice I can give you is to take a deep breath and make a budget - pay the essentials first - rent/mortgage, utilities, food, etc.

I know first hand how hard it is to face the damage, but you must do it. Otherwise, your addiction is going to speak up and convince you that another trip to the casino is the only way out. You need to take control, and accept that it will not get better overnight. But the positive thing is, it will get better quicker than you think. I literally did not have enough money to buy food for my first two weeks after I quit - I had oatmeal for dinner more than one time. But after a few paychecks with no gambling money coming out, I began seeing progress quick! You will, too.

I also used that time when I had no money at hand to exclude myself from the casino and develop a plan to fix the damage I did.

Try to stay positive, and place roadblocks in your path back to gambling. Take the time to imagine what your life will be like when you are free from the grip of this addiction.

You can do this!

Be honest with the people or institutions you owe money to and set up a payment plan you can afford.
Trust me when I say that if you stay Gamble Free you will sort out your finances over time without too much hassle.
The vast majority of our problems stem from our gambling.

You need to talk to ur creditors and set up a payment plan, otherwise, you will be charged with OD for every NSF transaction, that's a double whammy, NSF from the bank + additional charges by your creditors by getting the bank charges as well.

In the end, I had to close my account and worked on a payment plan. It is overwhelming BUT you need to....

STOP gambling! I never thought it is possible but it is doable, one day at a time...

yes, it depends who you owe. If its credit cards, you can negotiate or hire help to do it for you.
I blew what I had, so while I am debt free, I'm dead broke for probably years to come.
If its other/personal debt such as a loan, that I dont know. But there are credit specialists who deal with it for you, just depends who you owe again. God be with you, and all of us.
